Okay, a little bit of research has piqued my interest. I don’t know if it will run at all well on my poor old computer, but it is worth a try. Haven’t played a good, large-scale strategy for a while.

Duncan, it runs extremely well on my laptop, which is not exactly blowing away any gaming speed records any time soon. In fact, Stardock makes a point to have it run on low-end machines. And to be honest, so far, I’ve spent most of my time zoomed out far enough that the 3D card doesn’t actually do much work.

Well, I have a 4 year old rig, and most laptops tend to best it these days anyway. But, it does have a respectable video card, so all’s not lost.
